Japanese paper, card stock, cotton cord, ink, 14 ft x 3 ft x 8 inches, courtesy of the artist.
This hand-crafted fishnet knots together the names of almost 600 Italian Canadians forced into internment camps across Canada. I invite you to write a name, memory, doodle, or thought on the medallions provided and tie it anywhere in the fishnet. Each contribution becomes a part of our shared journey as we move forward from the past with compassion and forgiveness.
