Description
OT Staves
Populated by oval, gleaming objects, the wooden staves have been carved with indentations and rest precisely within these objects. These are magnets with an inherently surreal aesthetic; they hold one another and each other in place through their mutual attraction, in a state that determines their collective form. In this fragile tension, any triggering force can at any moment alter their positioning, thereby establishing a new constellation. The gray-painted staves lean against the wall at an angle and suggest a supporting function, a certain utility, handling quality, and a tool-like character.
