Description

STUNDEN /HOURS

Is an animation of an eye that is fictively viewed from within. The iris floats like a yolk in a bowl, in a concave space rather than on a convex surface.

In doing so, it only presents a naturalistic form—an unreal notion. Inserted into the wall without visible technology, this digital intarsia in a brick-built architecture becomes a rupture of matter and surface. The meandering of the iris continues endlessly; at times the eye has us more in its gaze than we, in our absent-mindedness, have it
