Biography
Juliane Tübke’s work operates at the intersection of sculpture, sound and spatial installation. At the centre of her artistic practice are relationships between humans, plants, landscapes and other forms of life. She is particularly interested in what might be described as symbiocenic perspectives: ways of thinking that do not position humans as separate from or superior to other beings, but as part of a complex web of mutual interdependencies. Her works create atmospheric environments in which ecological, bodily and emotional connections overlap.
