
Captain Stavros
Biography
Captain Stavros (he/him) is a visual artist, architect and curator. He is the founder of the non-profit project-space OKAY initiative space, a PhD candidate in the Department of Visual Arts at the Athens School of Fine Arts (under the supervision of Professor Kostis Stafylakis), co-founder of BFF architecture office and board member at EAXO residency.
He completed his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) at ASFA in 2022, his architectural studies in 2017 at the Polytechnic School of Architecture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, earning also a Master’s in Architecture from the same institution. Simultaneously, he completed his musical studies in 2014 (holding a diploma in classical violin and a degree in European percussion). In 2015–2016, he attended courses at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava.
In recent years, he has participated in various exhibitions at museums and festivals, including Milan Design Week, European Culture Capital ELEVSIS23, MoMUS Thessaloniki, Basel…
