La Villa du Parc opens onto a subtle contrast between interior and exterior. Behind the architecture of a residence marked by comfort and stability, another landscape unfolds. The works brought together here shift what usually takes place at a distance and bring it within four walls. Starting from raw materials such as gold, coal, oil, and sand, the artists stage the processes that run through them: extraction, transformation, circulation. To these actions are added the traces they leave behind: altered environments, fragile balances. In this space, resources are no longer abstract but become complex realities. By making them perceptible and revealing what lies behind the scenes, the works open up a slower mode of perception, attentive to materiality and processes that usually remain invisible.
