Make a useless drawing every day.
Start doing it.
At least scribble.
Let the pen wander across the paper.
Just take it for a walk.
From tree to tree, from flower to flower.
Go for a stroll — that used to be strictly forbidden.
— What does orthography have to do with education?
It’s just a tradition-sanctified nonsense.
That’s why I write however my stylus has grown,
and take my cue from the good Frau Aja,
who didn’t care about that either.
Unfortunately, the orthography-correct rat-heads
no longer know who Frau Aja was! Oya!
Set yourself in motion on the paper and
then perhaps send kind regards to …
the (currently serving) bed-darling.
Afflicted by the scribble-scratch addiction or
by the Moritz-von-Schwind disease,
go forth, my heart,
and seek what you might devour.
Oh, what would I be without
my pious upbringing, without
the many stories of the saints
whose limbs were chopped off for the glory of God,
of knightly death & devil let loose,
of the secrets & healing powers of plants,
of the many books I build…
