Let’s start humbly, knowing that something happened by mistake.

The idea was to present a certain radicality between what is generated and what is unexpected. A sort of ode to handmade formative accidents.


We saw these screens in newsrooms, airports, or stadiums: thousands of blinking pixels used to display images of war, trendy looks, results — headline scenes, looped to trigger an insatiable need for information, sensation. Sadly, news is immediately old. As an artwork, a screen could be considered the most contemporary piece. Here, text and footage do not clarify. They blur one thread of meaning into the next. The urge requires no resolution and the possible insight steps away from a promise to quietly misbehave.


What about moldings. The trimmed LED wall panel questions the continuity between the artwork and the historical narrative of the streets and the room decor. In the space, the...More expand_more
