I’m drinking wine.
The trees by the edge there
form the shape of the beloved.
Tempera: that fantasy needs a binding agent. Or all looking becomes her. The sketch of leaves turns to the sound of them, or the blue over the snow becomes the meaning of the word “Paris.” France has tweakers too, that surprised me.
And all I saw that day.
To paint something is to inscribe
its value, without nostalgia.
Simply there. My emotions
would become overused, if not
diluted in time, like pain
and other types of suffering.
Spring finally arrived
and I’m writing again
without any great result.
