Who says we don’t want to be inspired?
How should we deal with the universal human urge to be part of a greater whole? In a stylized, atomic universe, the Ghent-based duo Robbert&Frank discover the laws of duality, beauty, and magnetism. Propelled by their sensitivities as visual artists, they construct a visual logic that unfolds somewhere between the abstract and the concrete. Meanings and connections are exposed in an apparently random game with colour codes and an omniscient, all-encompassing consciousness.
by and with Frank & Robbert Robbert&Frank | coaching Pol Heyvaert | music Boris Zeebroek | choreographic advice Charlotte Vanden Eynde | voice-over Jonathan Beaton | production CAMPO | thanks to Arne Wastyn | co-production Beursschouwburg Brussels (BE), PACT Zollverein Essen (DE) & Auawirleben Bern (CH)
