Kristians Fukss' short film will be presented in an installation that expands the film’s world. It tells the story of the friendship between Hermanis and Francis, who meet at a scout camp. Scouting is portrayed in the film as a separate world. It is a community structure based on solidarity, discipline, self-development, and authentic interpersonal relationships, promoting equality and the acquisition of shared values regardless of social background. In the short film, the nature, more precisely, the scouting activities taking place there are used as a zone outside of urbanized and digitized daily life. Moss, earth, and grass tickle the skin, creating a sensory imprint.
