Jason and Harley's works for the show are a series of sealed wooden boxes, each with an arrangement of objects inside. The boxes arrived at 100 Bell Towers sealed, and they've asked the gallery to drill a hole, or holes, into each box, opening up visual access to what's inside. There's a thin aperture at the top of each box to let some light in.

My instructions were to drill holes to make the arrangements inside the box visible—the process started as a kind of chance operation, and after the initial hole was made there were a number of directions to approach: the development of a clearer visual experience, and/or the privileging the hole formations, and/or considering the installation conditions to account for viewing and lighting.
