Description
Handle with Care transforms a wall of discarded cardboard boxes into a temporary barrier marked by fragments of the artist’s own face. The stickers originate from an archive of more than two hundred self produced digital stickers created during the pandemic, where repeated expressions gradually became a dispersed form of self-portraiture. Transferred from private digital communication onto the visual language of packaging, the face shifts between warning label, signature, and unstable marker of identity. The instruction to “handle with care” no longer applies only to the boxes, but also to the unstable identity repeatedly exposed across their surfaces.
