Biography
Sweet Lips is a musical and artistic collaboration between Owen Kurtz and Sierra Weston, based out of Toronto.
Their debut EP was released in December of 2024 on the Ministry of Phonic Services label. They primarily make avant-pop music, playfully re-contextualizing the traditional pop standard and format with electronic experimental sound. They have opened for artists such as Ben Mike and The Beatles, Jules Reidy, and Eiko Ishibashi. They premiered a sound sculpture about Lady Gaga's panned album ARTPOP at the plumb gallery and have collaborated with Touch Me, Don't Forget Me on an installation at 24hr atm lotto.
