Biography
Solav is a multidisciplinary artist and photographer whose practice bridges the contemplative traditions of Eastern aesthetics with the expressive vitality of contemporary urban life. Self-taught across multiple disciplines—from computer science and linguistics to Asian studies and graphic design—his work emerges from a philosophy of intuitive creation, where technical precision meets spontaneous vision. As co-founder of LKVM Studio alongside artist Lekui, he has cultivated over eighteen years of experience in photography, interior design, and fine arts, establishing the studio first in Hangzhou, China in 2014 before relocating to Montreal in 2020. His artistic evolution has been marked by numerous exhibitions across China and Canada, including duo exhibitions in Beijing and Nanjing (2019) and solo presentations in Montreal and Chambly (2023-2024).
