Biography
Born in 1997 in Poland. A visual artist drawing on contemporary contexts to examine the dynamics of disappearance and the possibilities of resisting it. Working from the position of a homosexual artist, he questions the stereotypical image of queerness and investigates the absence and marginalization of queer figures within historical and cultural narratives. His practice reflects on shared space, identity and responsibility in a world marked by the decline of animal species, the depletion of non-renewable resources and ongoing secularization, with a particular focus on the shrinking coal landscape of Silesia. His works have been shown at CSW Kronika in Bytom, BWA Katowice, Holešovická šachta in Prague, Musée royal de Mariemont in Belgium, Galeria Pola Magnetyczne in Warsaw and the Utazu Art Award Biennale in Japan.
