Lenka FaluÅ¡iová (*1988, Czech Republic)
A visual artist and painter, Lenka FaluÅ¡iová graduated from the Printmaking Studio I (Prof. JiÅ™í Lindovský, Prof. Dalibor Smutný) at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (2012-2017) and has long been devoted to working on paper. Her style is precise and consistent, yet the resulting effect is experimental and dynamic. She focuses on (forest and geological) structuring, and despite the convincing, almost illusory impression, her work is highly imaginative.
FaluÅ¡iová is the recipient of the Graphic Artist of the Year award (student prize, 2015; intaglio printing, 2021), Mini Print in Cadaqués (2023), Alma Graphic Art in Oviedo (2023), and others. In 2025, she received the VIZIUM 2024 award in the Discovery of the Year category, presented by the Czech Academy of Visual Arts, and the Vladimír Boudník Award.
She regularly participates in international exhibitions and print biennials (2025 Edvard Munch at Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz, 2025 BIECTR 14 in Canada,…
