Konstantinos Argyroglou Argyropoulos (b. 1998, Athens) is an artist based between London and Athens whose practice centers on intimacy, care, and subjectivity through the prism of memory. Working primarily in painting, he revisits personal and familial histories through layered compositions that blend autobiographical fragments with emotional resonance. His work explores ways of revisiting childhood memories, both physical and emotional, via an embodied approach that contributes to wider conversations around tenderness, interdependence, and the shaping of identity.
Often engaging a young figure as a trace of the past while increasingly expanding beyond self-representation, Konstantinos constructs dreamlike, emotionally charged environments where relationships, belonging, and inherited connections come into focus. Through translucent washes in oil and watercolour, he creates imagery that oscillates between past and present, static and shifting, recalling rituals, gestures, and moments…
