Francesco Muggetti is an artist, born in Milan, IT.
He works with sound, sculpture, and installation. He is interested in infrastructure as a vehicle for the displacement of meaning. Language extends beyond words and seeps into reality in the form of a “conduit.” Francesco’s research focuses specifically on the domestic sphere, where old radios, electrical systems, and household appliances continue to emit signals and communicate even when no one is listening to them anymore, thus becoming residues of an absent intimacy.
