Biography
Emily is an artist and Associate Professor, Adjunct at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She holds a BFA from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and an MFA from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has taught at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and has been a resident artist at the Archie Bray Foundation, Watershed Center for Ceramics and the Alberta University of the Arts. She has exhibited her work at VSG Gallery, Old Friends, Oliva Gallery in Chicago, as well as at the University of Colorado Art Museum, the Kansas City Museum, and the Ohio Craft Museum.
