Biography
Darko Mitrović (b. 1973, Belgrade) is an artist, illustrator, and painter whose practice moves between image-making, narrative, and the absurd. After nearly two decades as one of Serbia's most prominent media figures, he abandoned a career in radio and television to pursue visual work full time.
His illustrations appear on book covers and in international publications. He collaborates with American publishers Gold Arrow Comics and Boink Comix. His work has been shown across seven international group exhibitions, and Transoptimizam marks his first solo presentation.
He lives and works in Belgrade.
