Biography
Antoine Félix Bürcher (b. 1999, Paris) is a Swiss artist from Lausanne based in Zürich, Switzerland.
His pluridisciplinary practice develops a critical post-digital conceptual reflection on the passage of time, addressing our contemporaneity and its infrastructure of the imaginary.
The artist proposes a poetic resistance to digital saturation through a nonlinear aesthetic of time, a space to think differently about the world to come. At the crossroads of reality, dreams and speculative fiction, the work questions our relationship to time. With his glass sculptures, a material that is both fragile and resistant, he creates ambiguous objects, halfway between archaeological relics and fossils from an uncertain future - silent witnesses of future imaginary metaversed civilizations.
