Wolf Hill is excited to announce our next exhibition, “Wet Light in Midnight”, a show of new paintings by Iranian artist Mahsa Merci.
Mahsa’s heavily layered oil paintings focus on capturing figures traditionally not portrayed in art history. Her heavy use of impasto creates a nearly sculptural effect, demanding closer inspection. Mahsa looks deeply into her subjects’ souls, providing a glimpse into their psyche, and in turn our own.
This show marks Wolf Hill’s first residency exhibition in New York City, to be held in the heart of Tribeca.
