Ápeiron Association and the City of Capri presents “Di mare e il suo orlo” (Of the Sea and its Edge), a solo exhibition by artist Roberto Maria Lino, curated by Collettivo Zero at Villa Lysis, Capri (Naples).


Roberto Maria Lino, an emerging talent in the contemporary art scene, inaugurates his first solo exhibition in Campania within the splendid setting of the island of Capri. He presents a series of unpublished works that intertwine the use of fabric – the artist’s preferred material – with the sea and personal memory. As is customary in Lino’s artistic practice, “Di mare e il suo orlo” (Of the Sea and its Edge) showcases his ability to stitch together scraps of fabric, forming a complex tapestry that conveys stories of life, travel, roots, and unbreakable ties with his memories, reworked into works of art.


The exhibition’s title is a reinterpretation of a quote from “I Canti dell’Isola” by the poet Ada...More expand_more
