Triangolo is pleased to present Everyday, Mostly Night, Sometimes Daylight, the first European solo exhibition by Japanese artist Satoru Kurata, held in the former theatre of the Church of San Luca in Cremona.

Featuring a new body of oil paintings, the exhibition introduces Kurata’s distinctive visual language, deeply informed by Japanese culture while remaining immediately legible within Western visual traditions. His works are populated by hybrid figures that shift between human and animal forms, alongside recurring motifs drawn from personal memories—particularly those rooted in childhood—and everyday experiences.

At the core of Kurata’s practice is an exploration of the psychological dimensions of human experience through the depiction of presence and perception. His paintings often present the perspectives of two different individuals simultaneously, rendered as divided images in which multiple viewpoints coexist on the same pictorial plane.

Triangolo is pleased to present Everyday, Mostly Night, Sometimes Daylight, the first European solo exhibition by Japanese artist Satoru Kurata, held in the former theatre of the Church of San Luca in Cremona.
