A discreet oxymoron,
two terms join.
A remainder that holds.
Broken, yet bearing.
The fissure, a motif, a weight,
heavy.
Political, intimate, or social.
A piece, a whole, a density.
The fragment concentrates.
It holds a tension.
It keeps the memory of the gesture that constrained it.
Nothing whole.
Yet something persists.
To carry,
the weight of time,
corrosive fatigues,
desires for refuge.
To carry,
hybrid perspectives,
memory and ghosts.
To carry the unperturbed unravelling.
To carry, to embrace and to endure.
Here, undone, imperfect, and incomplete.
Nothing is complete.
But something holds.
And that is enough.
A remainder,
that holds.
Broken, yet bearing.
--
Un oxymore discret,
deux termes s’allient.
Un reste qui tient.
Brisé, mais porteur.
La fissure, un motif, une charge,
lourde.
Politique, intime ou sociale.
Un bout, un tout, une densité.
Le fragment concentre.
Il retient une tension.
Il garde la mémoire du geste qui l’a contraint.
Rien d’entier.
Pourtant, quelque chose insiste.
Porter,
le poids du temps,
les fatigues…
