NM Contemporary is glad to present « Trames émotionnelles » (Emotional threads) the first solo show of Roberto Maria Lino in the Principality of Monaco.

The exhibition includes a selection of works executed during the artist’s residence at the Ateliers du Quai under the Direction of Cultural Affairs in Monaco in 2024.

In the first room are on display the series « Sutura », « Spolia » and « Untitled red monochromes ». The practice of Lino founds his mantra in the gesture of sewing applied to fabrics belonging to the family environment but also to strangers and to the use of natural pigments obtained from avocado, tea, beetroot and curcuma.

As a poet observes men and nature and tells their emotional bonds, Lino sews, bringing together remnants of those stories with needle and thread in a new harmonious narrative.

NM Contemporary is glad to present « Trames émotionnelles » (Emotional threads) the first solo show of Roberto Maria Lino in the Principality of Monaco.
