La Realidad is the name of Florence and Bruno’s home in Eymoutiers, France. It is also the name of the village in Chiapas where they met. These Zapatista villages are governed autonomously and horizontally, and are known as “caracoles,” which means “snail” in Spanish.
Bruno Serralongue is a photographer, and Florence Bonnefous has just closed Air de Paris, which she founded with Edouard Merino, after 36 years of operation. They are now launching a traveling program titled The Eternal Network, in reference to a work by the Fluxus artists George Brecht and Robert Filliou.
This first “homestay” exhibition brings together an internationally renowned artist from California—Allen Ruppersberg—and a young artist now based in Uzerche in the Limousin region—Rozenn Voyer. We wish to affirm from the outset our commitment to embracing all forms of diversity—across ages, genders, and nationalities…
