Charlie Hamish Jeffery is a Franco-British artist born in Oxford in 1975. He lives and works in the Morvan, Burgundy. His practice spans painting, sculpture, installation, performance, film, writing and poetry. His work notably explores the relationships between improvisation and structure, the transformation of materials, language and space. His work has been presented in numerous institutions and exhibition spaces in France and internationally. His works are held in the collections of the Centre national des arts plastiques (CNAP), FRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine MÉCA, FRAC Grand Large – Hauts-de-France, the Artothèque de Villeurbanne and the Fonds communal d’art contemporain de Clermont-Ferrand.
Charlie Hamish Jeffery is represented by Galerie Florence Loewy (Paris).
The exhibition will be accompanied by a publication featuring an Anecghostorie by Marie de Brugerolle.
