Kunstverein Braunschweig presents the first institutional solo exhibition in Europe by American artist D’Ette Nogle (*1974, La Mirada; lives and works in Los Angeles). For this project every gallery space and the surrounding grounds are dedicated to a single artist; Nogle creates new works drawing inspiration from the Kunstverein’s history, her encounters with Braunschweig, and a critical engagement with the United States. Curated by Junia Thiede. Supported by Stiftung Niedersachsen, Niedersächsisches Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Kultur, Volkswagen Financial Services AG, Stadt Braunschweig – Fachbereich Kultur und Wissenschaft.
