Description

Intelligent Thematic Curation

Continuing this vein of strong curation, each gallery creates its own signature style that blends seamlessly with

the neoclassical architecture of Somerset House. Further highlights from this year’s edition will include:

• Candida Stevens Gallery (Chichester) will present three female artists who create works about

displacement, including Manya Goldman whose life experience of coming to London in the 1960s as a

refugee from the Apartheid regime informs her textile works which deal with memory, belonging, and

dislocation; Alice Kettle who depicts contemporary events in her works; and YiMiao Shih, a Taiwanese

London-based artist who often satirises contemporary culture and politics.
