Matete Martini
Matete Martini (b. 1994, Friuli, Italy) is a multidisciplinary Italian artist working across painting, photography, sculpture, glass and installation. Her practice explores the relationship between objects, bodies and visual narratives, investigating memory, perception and contemporary cultural systems.
Her work moves between artistic research and interdisciplinary collaborations across art, design, fashion and heritage. She is the founder of Future Young Talent, an international workshop platform supporting experimental approaches to art, architecture and design.
Her work has been developed through collaborations with Artphilein Foundation, Baldinini Archive, Venice Glass Week, Signoretto Lampadari, the Italian Pavilion at Expo Osaka and Expo Dubai, among others.
