The show title ‘doubles’ James Meyer’s “The Double: Identity and Difference in Art since 1900,” which took place at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC in 2022.
Hanna Hur (b. 1985, Toronto) lives and works in New York. Recent solo exhibitions include Antenna Space, Shanghai (2026); Sweetwater, Berlin (2025); Doosan Art Center, Seoul (2024); Dracula’s Revenge, New York (2024), and Kristina Kite, Los Angeles (2023, 2021). Hur was included in Made in L.A. 2025 at the Hammer Museum, and has been featured in institutional exhibitions at CAPC Musée d’art contemporain de Bordeaux; Aspen Art Museum; and the Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.
