Description

Abstract Works is an ongoing series of small-format works on paper (21×30 cm and 29.7×42 cm), made in 2026 using layered combinations of graphite, acrylic marker, acrylic paint, colored pencil, oil marker, ink pen, and occasional found materials such as electrical tape. The series extends Peter Vukmirovic Stevens's cross-disciplinary practice, rooted in concert music, sound art, and graphic scores, into autonomous visual works that retain the improvisational logic and notational sensibility central to his compositional language. Each work in the series is individually numbered (I–XXVII) and functions both as a standalone piece and as part of a cumulative set of works. Works are available unframed through Yellow Cube Gallery, Paris.
